What A Wonderful Sight, When Everyone Is Treated Right

Human Rights for everyone is the necessary foundation upon which all of us may build a sustainable world where everybody may live in peace and serenity and plenty. In this respect, we are devoted to tackle each aspect of inequality with the aim to eliminate barriers in the face of each individual’s freedom, equal rights, inclusion and personal development, and we shall:

• empower the protection of human rights in Romania by promoting interventions and services for the protection of diversity and equality and by fighting discriminations, poverty, illiteracy, and other factors leading various citizens, especially vulnerable groups, to the social exclusion.
• transfer to Romania up-to-date know-how on issues related to human rights and state-of-the-art methods and technology for inclusion and development.
• be committed at European Level (involve experts from abroad; and establish liaisons with European partners; participate to European and international fora and organisations)
• act as an interface between the Romanian society and the rest Europe and the world.

Policies and Methodologies for Tackling Discrimination

The fight against diachronic sources of discrimination can be effectively supported by the global community of Internet and civil society organizations; however, the efforts of only a few will be futile in completely eliminating all issues and unblock the development potential. Through coordinated action, information sharing and pooled resources, CERID is endorsing a working model with a clear roadmap for success. It is our hope that the CERID approach will be supported national-wide for maximum impact.

CERID members support educational efforts not only to citizens, but also to a larger community public and private organizations. By participating in conferences, awareness events, and global forums related to the topic of equal rights and sustainable development, CERID members seek to educate and engage new partners in their efforts. Further, our beneficiaries are committed to being resources to organizations that seek to improve their internal policies and practices related to equal opportunities and accessibility for all.
